Important Rules for Health
Health food or healthy foods are important for overall health and well being. Food prepared in an environment which is unhealthy has an enormous effect on your overall well-being. Follow these rules when making healthy food choices. You will find that the beneficial effects from following these simple rules will positivly effect your health.
- Limit your consumption of sugar and white flour or eliminate them entirely from your diet
- Eliminate fried foods or foods cooked in heated oils from your diet
- Eliminate canned, frozen and processed foods from your diet
- Eliminate fast food or junk food (i.e. burgers, fries, cakes, pastries, candy, donuts,etc.) from your diet
- Do not eat after 6pm when possible
- Do not overeat to the point of feeling full and bloated
- Limit dairy proudcts in your diet (except plain sour yogurt or plain Keifer)
- Eat fruits and vegtables that are in season when possible
- Avoid certain food combinations. Do not eat sugars with proteins,* Eat lots of vegetables, fruit always should be eaten alone
- Always chew food well (this is important for optimal digestion)
- Exercise at least 3 times per week. Exercise should include an activity that gets you sweating and breathing deeply
- Drink 8 - 10 glasses of purified water everyday.
Note: The more live and fresh food you eat, the more alive you feel! After you adjust to new eating habits, your food cravings and aversions will change also.
